Finally a New Premier for Western Australia

So it's finally been announced. Heading a coalition consisting of the Liberals, Nationals and Independents is Liberal leader, Colin Barnett. Let us hope that he realises that a vote against Labor was certainly not a vote for the Liberal Party either. He's there by the grace of the Nationals and Independents, all of whom have apparently reserved the right to vote against issues they feel they or their party do not support.
We are in for interesting times, I suspect.

If these guys refrain from infighting we might be OK. If the parties continue their internal squabbles it could be a disaster. Time will tell!

No matter how you look at it it's going to be interesting.

Sorry about the dual posting, Helen. Blogger told me the first one didn't work and to try again in 30 seconds. The result was two versions of the same post. Grr. (No need to post this one - it's just by way of explanation in case you think the Alzheimers has finally got me!)
